Mission
The most fundamental search in life is for meaning and purpose. Often this pursuit results in a deep sense of futility because man seeks fulfillment apart from God. His professions, ideals and humanitarian endeavors end up tranquilizing his emptiness. Yet, deep in his heart he continues to search, because he cannot run from his gnawing questions. If they remain unanswered, then, for this person, despair is no longer a moment; it is a way of life.

Part of his search may take him to people who profess and practice the Christian faith, but often there is no meeting of minds. Of serious concern is his perception that the Christian message does not meet the demands of the mind. The popular aphorism states that any stigma can lick a good dogma, and he resists the message by stigmatizing it as the religion of the non-thinker.

We believe the key to reaching the questioner and the thinker is through skilled apologetics. This term means "to give an answer". The early church used it consistently and effectively.

Likewise, in our day we challenge the axioms of secularism that have wrought havoc in the world of ethics and theology, resulting in the collapse of values and ideals indispensable to both survival and godliness.
